Miguel Cerro, is an illustrator and author with more than 12 years’ experience in the book (or, more specifically, the illustrated album) sector. To date, more than 40 of his books have been published and translated, in countries which include Korea, Italy, France, China and the US, and have received more than 30 national and international awards. Most notable among these awards and recognitions are: the VIII International Compostela Prize 2015, representing Spain at the Bratislava Biennial of Illustration in 2015 and 2017 and being the only Spanish illustrator in 2018 to be on the IBBY Honour list. Some of his books have been awarded or nominated at the Moonbeam Awards (USA), International Latino Book Awards (USA), by the Bank Street College of Education in New York, Clij magazine, the Cuatrogatos Foundation Awards and the OEPLI.
